This lovely, hardworking perennial, has elegant dainty white spires. It flowers in profusion through summer and into early autumn, leaving lovely textural seed heads to work into designs. Seeds will happily self seed around the garden

Sow undercover in early spring for flowers the same year.

These seeds need light to germinate so surface sow on to moist compost and cover very, very lightly with vermiculite. Cover with a propagator lid, removing it when germination has occured. Pot on and plant out after the last frost.
