An heirloom grandiflora sweet pea, introduced in 1906 by Henry Eckford. A vivid orange red, almost the exact colour as a redcurrent when lit up by the sun. It’s a prolific flowerer, flowering earlier in the season, it was one of the first to put on a really good show in the garden. The colour burns a little when in direct sun, fading as it ages, A very strong and zesty scent.

A fistful of sweet peas- there's nothing better.
