A recent introduction to the world of sweet peas; Shell Pink has got people talking! Delciate, veined, and pearly pink like the perfect sea shell. She has a slightly smoky coloured stem, and a rosey scent. The plant on a whole is on the smaller size, so excellent for containers, and balconies. She has an iridescent quality t her colour. Every now and then, a red veined rogue appears, which we’re hoping is a new variety trying to make itself known.

Grandiflora

Best sown under cover in autumn to get the biggest, most productive plants. Plant out in spring. Or sow under cover from January and then plant out in the spring.

The young plants can handle a light cold-spell but do protect from hard frosty temperatures. Pinch out the growing tips at 6" tall to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. No need to pinch Autumn sown sweet peas.
