Sweet Pea 'Monaco'

A spicy orange-red with a touch of hot magenta. Introduced in 2022. Almost a bi-colour. A really fun sweet pea to grow. The petals are shiny like a perfect red Ferrari. Upright, curled back, ready to roar. The stems are lovely and long, a little on the delicate side, but worth growing just for sheer bright colour joy.

Grandiflora

Best sown under cover in autumn to get the biggest, most productive plants. Plant out in spring. Or sow under cover from January and then plant out in the spring.

The young plants can handle a light cold-spell but do protect from hard frosty temperatures. Pinch out the growing tips at 6" tall to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. No need to pinch Autumn sown sweet peas.
