Abundant swaying grasses with beautiful caramel fluffy tops that glows when caught by the sun. Such a lovely textural crop to grow amongst showy flowers. This gently self-sows so sow it once and then let it do it’s thing for you. The birds love feeding from the seed heads at the end of summer.

Best sown directly in spring where they are to grow and flower to get the biggest, most productive plants. Can also be sown in cell trays, just cover lightly with vermiculite. Plant out after the last frost. Needs temperatures of around 15° - 20° C to germinate readily. The birds love to eat the ripe seeds. Lovely to leave some heads standing as natural bird feeders for them into the autumn.
