Poppies do not like being disturbed, so it's best to direct sow, on the surface of the soil, where you would like them to flower. Sow from May onwards through to October. Seeds sown in the autumn will flower the next year.

To dry, wait until the seed pods have developed, cut and bunch the stems, removing the leaves, and hang upside down in a dry environment, out of direct sunlight.

Hardy Annual

Aspect: Full Sun

Spacing: 8 inches apart

Days to Maturity: 80-90 approx

Height: 3ft

Approximately 300 seeds per packet
