These poppies don’t like being disturbed, so best to direct sow in spring when all danger of frost has passed. You can start under cover in Autumn, just be extra gentle when transplanting.
Harvest when the buds are just cracking open and sear stems in boiling water or with flame as soon as you harvest for best vase life.
