Sow seed uncover in spring, these benefit from a little warmth so use propagator light or a heat mat. Sow on to moist compost, covering lightly with vermiculite. Grass seed can have sporadic germination and take up to 4 weeks. Pot on when large enough, and then plant out after the last frost.

These can also be direct sown in late spring.
