They’re also very easy to collect the seed from, they start popping out when they’re ready. You may only get a few seeds per plant but for the fewer seeds you get is made up with the ease of harvesting them.

Place freshly cut stems into boiling water for 10 seconds when harvesting, before plunging into a cool bucket to rest and condition for a few long hours. They have an extraordinarily long vase life if you can avoid the wilting. So be sure to this hot water trick and harvest at dawn if you can.
